Helen, from Crescita HR & OD, was recommended to Women’s Aid in Luton around 9 years ago, at a time when the charity needed assistance with restructuring organisation. 

 

Jane Firmin, Interim Head of Business and Services at Luton Women’s Aid and the Board of Trustees, considered a number of potential suppliers before choosing Crescita; their decision was based on Helen’s experience at working both in the Public Sector and the Charity field – as well as her readiness to really get to know the charity and what it needed. 

 

Since then, the organisation has been though large scale change, affecting everyone, from top to bottom. Strong employee relations and communications have been critical to the success of the programme, and would not have been as successful without Helen’s support. 

For Women’s Aid in Luton, the organisational development sits at the core of the business planning process necessary to ensure ongoing funding. Helen’s skills in this area – particularly in bringing people together and getting projects moving – have been a great support to the Board of Trustees.
